  People have negative things to say about loaves and fishes, but my experience there was anything but negative. Do they make mistakes? Sure. Ultimately, they saved my life and showed me love that I had never known before. They do not teach a false doctrine, and it was through this program that I really learned who Jesus is. A program cannot determine whether or not a person gets sober, so a success rate is really irrelevant. The people running the program can help guide you, and teach you the truth, but it's up to the individual. The bible says that "by his stripes we were healed". Jesus has already healed us of addiction, it's up to you whether or not you want to receive that healing. Loaves and fishes is an amazing program. As soon as you enter the program, you're no longer labeled as an addict, you're considered family. So say whatever you want, but I've been sober for sixteen months, and the people at loaves and fishes helped me become the person I am today.
